The Giving Exchange is grateful for all of the support we receive from our donors. We want to make sure giving to our organization is easy, which is why we have several ways to give back to TGE.
TGE accepts direct project donations and is also partnered with eBay for Charity, Amazon Smile, and Givenik. You can learn more about each of these donation options below.
1. Fund a TGE Project
A list of TGE projects can be found on our website, from greenhouses to water tanks and medical supplies. Find a project that speaks to you and make a donation to support others in need. Any donation amount helps and is appreciated.
2. eBay for Charity
TGE is excited to be involved with eBay for Charity. You can sell items on eBay and designate a percentage of the proceeds to your favorite charity. Your old furniture, clothing, electronics, and more can find a new home through eBay, and you can support those in need through the sale.
3. Amazon Smile
Shop online with Amazon Smile and 0.5 percent of eligible purchases will be donated to the charitable organization of your choice. The key to this method of giving is to ensure you’re on the Amazon Smile website before making your purchase.
Admittedly, remembering to access Amazon Smile versus the regular Amazon site can be confusing. Luckily, there is a helpful extension called Smile Always that will automatically redirect you to Amazon Smile whenever you go to the Amazon site. This extension will help you give back to a good cause through purchases you make on Amazon.
Givenik is a site that offers discounted tickets for Broadway and Off-Broadway shows. When you purchase a ticket through Givenik, 5 percent of your purchase will go toward the charity of your choice. Make TGE your charity the next time you decide to go see a show.
The Giving Exchange is grateful for any donation we receive. We also appreciate the support from volunteers and others interested in making the world a better place. If you have suggestions for other ways to give back, please let us know!
For those who can’t support our organization monetarily, not to worry. We are happy you’re here and welcome you to become involved in other ways. You can start by following our social media outlets, such as Facebook and Twitter or leaving a comment below.
