Program Launch: Supporting Smallholder Farmers in Kajiado County
Project Overview
In partnership with The Giving Exchange, the Kisaju Farmers Group is launching a powerful initiative to uplift smallholder farmers in Kajiado County, Kenya. Through targeted support and training in vegetable farming, this project will directly benefit 50 farmers and improve food security and income generation for over 200 community members.
The project focuses on vegetable farming as a reliable, climate-resilient income source, leveraging local conditions and growing market demand for fresh, affordable produce. Farmers will receive hands-on training in modern techniques, including irrigation, soil fertility, and pest management, while gaining access to high-quality seeds and tools to ensure success.
