There’s so much more to playing soccer than kicking around a ball. For impoverished kids, the opportunity to play soccer is an opportunity to develop their physical, social and emotional health, create a sense of community and give them the motivation to stay in school. The Fantasy Soccer Academy is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping hundreds of kids succeed in the Kitengela community and Kajiado County. Many of the children who attend the Academy come from underprivileged backgrounds, living in sprawling, informal settlements in Kitengela’s construction sites and nearby towns.

Challenging living conditions lead many kids in the region to drop out of school, thus promoting the circle of poverty and poor literacy. The Academy’s goal is to mentor and encourage children in their education through a common passion: soccer. By kicking goals, kids are able to achieve their academic goals.

Thanks to our generous donors, in 2019 we were able to help the Fantasy Soccer Academy launch a custom t-shirt printing project which generated revenue to develop their program. Your donations to TGE help keep the Fantasy Soccer Academy alive and kicking.
