Pavi Lella
Development Associate“The most meaningful change is built together.”
Pavi is committed to creating long-lasting impacts. Having earned a B.A. in Bioethics and B.S. in Maternal and Child Health Education from Howard University, she developed a passion for international development and community empowerment. As the first generation to be literate in her father’s family, she is committed to expanding education and supporting development projects worldwide. Her work has included supporting refugee children, mentoring young girls in India, working with incarcerated youth in Washington, DC detention centers, and guiding first-generation college students. During her time at Howard, she researched African community structures and studied the isiZulu language; these experiences reinforced her belief in the power of connected communities. Joining The Giving Exchange immediately resonated with her and felt like a natural extension of the work, values, and experiences that shaped her personally and professionally. Outside of work, she loves to learn new recipes, explore new hiking trails, and spend time with her cat, Bronco!
