How We Measure Success

Many organizations measure how much money is spent.

We measure what happens after the investment.

When evaluating the success of a BLOOM-supported enterprise, we look at both quantitative and qualitative outcomes:

  • Beneficiaries reached

  • Enterprise performance

  • Community impact

  • Stories of transformation

Featured Stories

Behind every number is a person.

Here are three local leaders whose vision, determination, and leadership are creating lasting change in their communities.

Lilian Biira

Inspire Girls Foundation | Kasese, Uganda

What began as a vocational soap-making program has grown into one of TGE's strongest partnerships.

After receiving leadership and business training, Lilian expanded Inspire Girls Foundation's impact and launched the Inspire Skills Studio Academy (ISSA), providing vocational training and life skills education for vulnerable girls and young women.

Today, young women are gaining practical skills, confidence, and pathways toward financial independence.

Divine Mercy Children’s Home | Kiambu, Kenya

Esther

Esther and her team care for vulnerable children while working to create long-term sustainability for the organization.

Through TGE support, Divine Mercy launched a dairy production enterprise that provides nutritious milk for children while generating income to support operations.

The result is a stronger organization, healthier children, and a sustainable source of revenue for years to come.

Cecilia

Njoo Dada Trust | Dagoretti, Kenya

Before the program, Cecilia was quiet. Easy to miss in a room full of people.

When The Giving Exchange returned after her training, something had changed. She was managing everything. Confident. Shining. She took us to see her shop: a real brick-and-mortar storefront where she bakes cakes and serves snacks to the neighborhood.

That fall, she'd landed her first wedding cake commission. She told us with a smile that stretched across the whole room.
