Greenhouse for Primary Schools

Thanks to our generous donors who made it all possible, we built a greenhouse at two primary public schools near Kiambu, and at a Masai rescue center for girls in the Kadjiado county. This sustainable project not only provides fresh vegetables to nearly 1700 people, but also generates income which is used to tend to the children’s daily needs. We had the privilege of planting the first seeds for these greenhouses during our 2018 trip to Kenya. The local children and staff were taught the basics on growing plants, with the help of our local partner Amiran. It was mind-blowing for our team to see the pleasure and pride in these peoples eyes as they were working to create this sustainable program, which would truly have an impact in their daily lives.
