TGE gave the Riruta Shade Orphanage in Nairobi a fully-operational chicken coop. Riruta Shade is currently home to 38 children, mostly between the ages of 10- and 14-years-old. Thank you to everyone who donated and volunteered on this project.

The chicken coop will make a world of difference to the children who live at the orphanage. There was already a small coop with several chickens at Riruta, but by expanding it TGE has helped the orphanage start a sustainable chicken broiler production.

The chickens will not only feed the children but will also be an ongoing revenue source to support the food program and school fees. TGE is feeding hope for today and tomorrow.
